Our ideas for learning for pre-schoolers, school classes and projects for the holidays make the museum a place for young visitors to discover and to marvel, to ask and to learn.

On the basis of our collections we offer children and young people the opportunity of a personal approach to art, history and stories.

    In the exhibition of historical toys, model railways, dolls and doll’s houses, puppet theatres, children’s books, sets of building bricks and much more besides, the Rostock Cultural History Museum offers an insight into the world of children’s play, especially of the upper classes, in the past two centuries.
